Do you take insurance?

As an out-of-network provider, I do not accept insurance. However, I will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Insurance companies vary in their coverage for out of network mental health services. Before starting treatment, you may wish to call your insurance company to ask about coverage. You may need to provide them with the billing codes (CPT codes) which I use. I can provide you with these after our initial phone call.

You may also use a healthcare flexible spending account to offset the cost of treatment. Healthcare costs may also be deducted on tax returns. Please ask me if you have further questions about this.

How often are therapy appointments?

Therapy appointments are at least once a week, and sometimes more frequent. Meeting more frequently can help facilitate deeper insight and self-understanding. I also offer a specialized form of insight oriented therapy called psychoanalysis which typically involves meeting four times per week.

How often are medication management appointments?

For medication management appointments, we will make an individual plan for the frequency of appointments. Typically at the beginning, appointments will be more frequent and as you feel better we may space out the frequency of appointments. We can talk about this more during the initial phone call and consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less notice will be charged for the appointment fee.
